How much does monogramming cost?

$10 AUD (or around $7 USD).


Which watch style can be monogrammed?

Our leather range is the only style of watch that can be monogrammed. You can check out our leather styles HERE
 

How does monogramming work?

We use a custom press machine to monogram our watches. The machine is designed to be used on our leather watches and creates an embossed effect on the leather strap. This technique is sometimes called 'blind embossing'.


Can I buy an individual watch strap and get it monogrammed?

Unfortunately, we can't monogram individual straps. Our monogramming service is only offered for new watches purchased from the Uncle Jack website.

 

How can I look after my monogrammed watch?

To keep your straps in good condition we recommend to:

Avoid the leather strap coming into contact with water and moisture, oils, perfumes or cosmetics as this can deteriorate the lifespan of the leather.

Avoid over-exposure to extreme heat and moisture.

 

Exchanges & Returns

What is your exchange/returns policy on monogrammed watches?

All monogram sales are final. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns or exchanges on monogrammed watches due to the customisation, unless the product is faulty. Once the watch has been personalised/monogrammed we will not be able to facilitate a return or an exchange.

    Shipping & Delivery

    How long does it take to monogram my watch?

    You should allow an extra 2 business days for your watch to be monogrammed and shipped out to you. We take pride in making sure your watch is looking tip-top before sending it out!


    Express Shipping

    If you purchase a monogrammed watch and opt for Express Shipping, your order will be dispatched via Express Post but it will not likely be sent on the same business day. We ask that you please allow an extra 2 business days for your watch to be monogrammed before it is sent out. Please account for the extra processing time if purchasing a monogrammed watch as a gift. 

    Do you ship Internationally?

    Yes, we ship worldwide. We ship with DHL International. For information on shipping times for international orders please see our SHIPPING page. If you purchase a monogrammed watch and opt for International Express Shipping, your order will be dispatched via Express but it will not likely be sent on the same business day. We ask that you please allow an extra 2 business days for your watch to be monogrammed before it is sent out.

    Can I change the initials once the order has been placed?

    Please contact us immediately if you have made an error in placing your order. We will try our best to assist, however unfortunately if you enter the initials incorrectly and it's already on the press machine, we cannot reverse/amend/cancel the order. We recommend triple checking your order details. Once the order has been placed and pressed, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect details entered.

    Warranty

    How long is your warranty period on monogrammed watches.

    Uncle Jack offers a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. 

    What is covered by the warranty? 

    Any errors caused by the manufacturing of the watches such as defects will be covered by warranty. Personalisation will last at least the length of the manufacturer's warranty.

    What is not covered by the warranty?

    Our 1 year warranty does not include any damage caused to the watch through everyday use eg. dropping your watch, bumps, wear and tear etc. 

    Our warranty does not include the watch battery.

    The manufacturer’s warranty also does not include general ‘wear and tear’ to the watch strap, or any external/environmental impacts upon the visibility of the monogram.

    Our Leather Range is not covered by warranty from water damage.

    How do I make a warranty claim if I believe there is an issue with my watch?

    If you believe there is an issue or fault with your watch, please contact us at info@unclejack.com.au stating your name, order number and a detailed description.
